Cranes for power plants are characterised by high gross loads of up to 1200 metric tons and partly several hoists per crane. Also large hoisting heights of up to 60 metres must be observed here. The cranes are designed as power house cranes, cranes for placing bulkheads, or as maintenance cranes. Here bridge cranes are used as a standard, but gantry cranes are also possible.
